1st day home: We were discharged from the hospital within 47 hours of Aidan's birth. Paraphrasing Stephen Sondheim: It was scary and exciting at the same time. What to do? No more assistance? Talk about on the job training just when you're too exhauasted to even think.
Any new parent would appreciate this--we stared at him for hours on end like mannequins.
